What a major turnaround in the case of Jake Allen with the New Jersey Devils, and Montreal Canadiens fans can't believe it!

The 33-year-old veteran goaltender has been absolutely dazzling since his debut with his new organization.
After stopping 36 shots yesterday in a victory against the Pittsburgh Penguins, Allen has played a third consecutive game with a save percentage above .940.
This is a far cry from his statistics of 3.65 and .892 in Montreal.
He was also the first star of the match for two of his three starts in New Jersey.
Moreover, he seems to be gradually taking on the role of the team's starting goaltender, something he really wasn't able to do with the Canadiens this year. If he can continue on this trajectory until next year, there's a good chance that the 3rd-round pick obtained in his trade could become a 2nd-round pick.
Remember, he only needs to play 40 games for this to happen, and for the Devils to qualify for the playoffs.
He's been absolutely on fire since donning the Devils' colours, and honestly, we're extremely happy for him.
The NHL even shared an absolutely incredible sequence of Allen yesterday, where he made two spectacular consecutive saves. It's worth a look.
