Jeff Gorton Confirms a Major Rumour Involving Martin St-Louis
Now in his position for over two years as the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, some journalists and media members have started to analyze the work done by Martin St-Louis since his start.
Some of them even raised the fact that they had doubts about seeing him continue to be behind the bench of the club when the team is ready to be fully competitive, that is, in two or three years.
Well, the suspense regarding the future of St-Louis will not last much longer, since the VP of Hockey Operations at the CH, Jeff Gorton, has just made a major announcement about the coach.
"We feel we have found the right coach for us with Martin. He is the perfect coach for the CH." - Jeff Gorton
So, it would be a closed file, MSL is in Montreal to stay and that's just perfect.
He is doing an excellent job of developing the team's young players, and the rebuild continues, which means that other important young players from the organization will soon benefit from St-Louis's significant education.
I side with Gorton, I also believe he is the perfect coach to lead this team to the Stanley Cup.
