According to Will Smith, a young talent from the San Jose Sharks, goaltender Jacob Fowler could very well be one of the steals of the 2023 draft by the Montreal Canadiens.

Smith, who played with Fowler at Boston College, praised the goaltender's skills, calling him a sure bet and noting that his potential is still underestimated.
Cutter Gauthier, a prospect for the Anaheim Ducks, added that Fowler is probably the best goaltender he has ever played with.
At only 19 years old, Jacob Fowler is about to begin his second season in the NCAA and is already seen as a future cornerstone for the Canadiens.
Selected 69th overall in the draft, he might become an important player for the team's future.
