According to the latest court ruling, Sean Higgins will remain in jail at least until September 13.

The driver, who was intoxicated, did not receive bail.
He had expressed his dissatisfaction during his first virtual hearing, which frustrated many people, and understandably so!
«Update: Sean Higgins, the allegedly drunk driver responsible for the deaths of the Gaudreau brothers, will stay in jail until his next hearing on September 13, to allow his attorneys and the courts to file additional documents. He was represented by the New Jersey public defender's office but plans to have his own lawyer for the next hearing.»

Higgins is expected to face formal charges for the deaths of Matthew and Johnny Gaudreau.
The Columbus Blue Jackets star and his brother, who played in the ECHL and the American Hockey League, were cycling in a familiar neighborhood in New Jersey when they were struck by Higgins' vehicle.
