A few weeks before the trade deadline, potential trade clues are starting to become more evident.

One of the relevant elements that suggest a possible connection between two teams is the number of scouts sent to watch a game to analyze the match.

A trade to watch between the Canadiens and the Kings?

Journalist Dennis Bernstein from Los Angeles reported interesting information involving the Montreal Canadiens.
He revealed that Kent Hughes had sent two scouts from the Canadiens to attend the game between the Nashville Predators and the Los Angeles Kings yesterday.
Exactly two weeks before the deadline, this is the kind of information that suggests discussions have taken place between the two organizations, especially since it's rarer for selling teams to send scouts in quantity to a game, it's normally the buying teams that do this more.
It should be noted that the Kings inquired about the availability of Jake Allen during the season, and according to some insiders, they would be looking to strengthen their blue line. Therefore, the connection between the two teams is quite easy to make.
It will be interesting to see what could emerge in the coming days, as names of forwards Alex Turcotte and Arthur Kaliyev are mentioned as players to watch for a trade.
