Some sad news has just been confirmed within the Montreal Canadiens organization with the announcement of a death in the organization.

Unfortunately, Paul Masnick has passed away in the last few hours, he was the last living member of the 1953 Stanley Cup run.
"Masnick passed away at the age of 92 and he was the oldest member of the survivors of the Canadiens' 1953 Stanley Cup champion team."

The former Tricolore player accumulated 60 points, including 18 goals, in 232 career NHL games, most of them with the Montreal Canadiens.
"Paul Masnick, the oldest surviving member of the Montreal Canadiens' 1953 Stanley Cup victory, has died at the age of 92.

Masnick played 232 NHL games from 1950 to 1958 with Montreal, Chicago, and Toronto, scoring 18 goals and 59 points during that time."
