A sad situation occurred during the Montreal Canadiens' trip to the West involving Carey Price and his wife Angela.
As you know, the goaltender is no longer part of the team, but technically, he is still part of the organization.
Since his departure as a regular player, there have been occasions when Price joined his former teammates, especially when they were in his part of the country.
Fans even took it for granted that this would be the case during this trip.
"Since Carey Price was in Kennewick, Washington, tonight (and near Seattle) to watch his former junior team play, maybe we'll see him in Seattle tomorrow for the Canadiens game!" - HabsOnReddit
However, despite a stop in Vancouver and Seattle, close to where the Price family now resides permanently, this was ultimately not the case.
Obviously, it's not really dramatic not to have seen number 31 spend time with the CH. However, it is still sad to see that the page seems definitively turned and that his involvement with the team is now a thing of the past.
It's possible that there's a logical reason for his absence in recent days, something that was not addressed by Angela, who is usually very active on social media.
Do you believe Carey Price should have made an effort to spend some time with the Canadiens during this trip?
