Is Sidney Crosby on the verge of completely changing the Canadiens' next season?

Sidney Crosby has not yet signed an extension with the Penguins and is entering the final year of his contract.
The heart and soul of the Penguins could help the Pittsburgh-based franchise rebuild if a trade were to happen next season.
Although it's a surprising scenario, a TSN journalist has mentioned several teams that could be interesting destinations for Sidney Crosby.
The Canadiens are among the teams cited. Kent Hughes might have the assets to entice the Penguins, and Crosby would be a major boost for the young Canadiens lineup.
It's speculative, but journalist Travis Yost goes as far as to say that the Canadiens would win at least 5 more games with Crosby in Montreal.
That would add 10 points to their standings. Crosby's experience would also be a key factor in the Canadiens' success with a certain Sidney Crosby.
It would indeed be surprising not to see #87 finish his career in Pittsburgh! But dreaming is allowed...
