WOW: Arber Xhekaj Makes Massive Comments Concerning Matt Rempe
Matthew Rempe, the forward for the New York Rangers, is currently the player of the hour in the NHL.
Indeed, recently called up to the major team, the giant of 6 feet 8 inches and 240 pounds quickly made a name for himself across the league, having already dropped the gloves against the best fighters in the league, despite having played only nine games in the National League.
Shying away from nothing, the 21-year-old center player demonstrated his abilities by engaging in fights with tough guys like Nicolas Deslauriers, Matt Martin, Mathieu Olivier, and Ryan Reaves.
Of course, it didn't take much for the fans of the Canadiens to dream about an upcoming confrontation involving Arber Xhekaj and Matthew Rempe. After all, the Sheriff earned the respect of his opponents in a similar way, and a duel between him and the new sensation would be simply exciting.
Moreover, during a discussion with journalist Eric Engels from Sportsnet, Wifi admitted to being greatly impressed by what number 73 of the Rangers has accomplished since his debut in the NHL. He especially added having a great respect for the forward, mentioning that he was ready for a possible fight with the giant.
Eric Engels: "Have you paid attention to what the Rempire State Building has done?"
Arber Xhekaj: "How could I not hear about it? He's everywhere right now. Honestly, it's pretty cool for him."
Eric Engels: "What do you think about the frequency with which he drops the gloves and the opponents he has chosen to face?"
Arber Xhekaj: "It's pretty crazy. He gets the invites and he has the balls to do it. Those are big boy fights – six to eight punches to the face, and his face is solidly messed up – but even when he's chased by Reaves all game, he's ready to show up!"
Eric Engels: "I feel like Deslauriers is one of the most intimidating players in the NHL. What do you think of that fight?"
Arber Xhekaj: "It was probably the best fight I've seen in the last 10 years. Guys don't fight like that anymore today. Deslauriers fought like that back in the day, and when a guy wants to go old school, he doesn't hesitate. He doesn't punch lightly, I guarantee you!"
Eric Engels: "When you watch that, do you think you'll end up facing each other?"
Arber Xhekaj: "Obviously! If he stays in the league, we'll probably have a few fights over our career. I've actually played against him in the minors. He knows his role, he doesn't care and he'll do whatever it takes to keep his spot!"

The stage is set for the confrontation between the Canadiens and the Rangers, on April 7th. Let's bet that many Montreal fans will be eager to see the two fighters in action!
Certainly, it will be a match not to miss!
