TVA Sports has just linked three players to help the Canadiens in 2025
The Montreal Canadiens have been notably quiet on the free-agent market this summer, despite Kent Hughes' numerous discussions.
So far, no major acquisitions have been made, leading fans to wonder if Hughes is waiting for a more opportune moment to add a top forward.
However, TVA Sports is already looking ahead to the summer of 2025, predicting an active period for free agents.
Three interesting forwards are on the list of potential targets: Brock Boeser, Nikolaj Ehlers, and Claude Giroux.
Boeser, at 27, had an outstanding season with the Vancouver Canucks, scoring 40 goals and 73 points.
Ehlers, known for his speed and offensive skills, totaled 61 points last season with the Jets.
Giroux, though older, continues to produce with 64 points last season.
Also noted are Taylor Hall, Gustav Nyquist, Brock Nelson, and Frank Vatrano on TVA Sports' list.
These players could offer valuable reinforcement for the Canadiens in a year.
