Johnny Gaudreau's widow is moved by Cole Caufield's tribute

Cole Caufield, forward for the Montreal Canadiens, recently changed his number from 22 to 13 in honor of Johnny Gaudreau, his role model and hero.
This gesture touched Johnny's wife, Meredith Gaudreau, who responded by saying that the highlight of Johnny's summer had been playing with Caufield.
«Highlight of his summer was with you guys. He loves you!» she said.
It's worth noting that the two players participated together in the World Championship for Team USA, strengthening their bond.
Caufield also shared an emotional message when announcing his number change, expressing gratitude to Johnny Gaudreau for inspiring him as a smaller player in the NHL.
He stated that he would now wear number 13 to honor Johnny's memory and the impact he had on the hockey world.
