Mitch Marner, who was linked to the Nashville Predators earlier this summer, had these rumors seemingly confirmed by former teammate Ryan O'Reilly.
According to reporter Nick Kypreos, O'Reilly attempted to persuade Predators GM Barry Trotz to pursue Marner before Nashville signed big names like Steven Stamkos, Jonathan Marchessault, and Brady Skjei.
