The Montreal Canadiens recently announced a new acquisition for their farm team.
Defenseman Zack Hayes has signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Laval Rocket. Hayes, 25 years old and originally from Calgary, Alberta, stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 219 pounds.
He joins the organization with notable experience, having played with the Vegas Golden Knights in 2021-22 and accumulated three seasons in the American Hockey League.
Additionally, he has played nearly 300 games in the WHL with the Prince Albert Raiders.
