Scary Scene at Canadiens Practice: Player Struck by Puck
In the last few minutes, a rather frightening scene occurred live from the CN Sports Complex in Brossard. Indeed, Quebecois forward Brandon Gignac had to leave the Montreal Canadiens' practice after being hit in the face by a puck.

Remember, the 26-year-old center recently signed a two-way contract with the organization to fill the vacancy left by Sean Monahan's move to the Winnipeg Jets.
Since his call-up to the major league, the Repentigny native has scored one goal in six games. He has performed notably well in the American League, having recorded 14 goals and 28 assists (42 points) in 43 games with the Laval Rocket.
Let's hope he will be able to play against the Buffalo Sabres tomorrow; otherwise, the Tricolore might be forced to dress only eleven forwards and seven defensemen.
Update on Brandon Gignac's Health Status
Renaud Lavoie has just confirmed excellent news regarding Brandon Gignac. Indeed, after spending a few minutes with the team's doctors, he was able to return to the ice to participate in the final drills of the practice.
More scare than harm for CH's number 74!
This strongly suggests that he will indeed be in Martin St-Louis's lineup tomorrow, likely finding himself on the fourth line alongside Tanner Pearson and Michael Pezzetta.
