There is news about a potential trade between the Montreal Canadiens and the St. Louis Blues involving two players.

The Blues, who might lose their defenseman Torey Krug for the entire 2024-25 season, are looking to replace him through trades, given that the free-agent market is depleted.
According to Pierre McGuire, the Blues are targeting a young defenseman, and the Montreal Canadiens, who are open to trading some of their defensemen, could be an ideal partner.
McGuire suggests a trade involving Jimmy Snuggerud, a promising forward from the Blues, in exchange for a young defenseman from the Canadiens such as Justin Barron, Jayden Struble, or Jordan Harris.
Snuggerud, who is 20 years old, is a very talented player with strong statistics in the NCAA and with his junior national team.
