In a Facebook post, Poirier revealed a generous donation of $675,000 to HEC Montréal, which has earned him a place in the institution's Director's Circle. To honor this contribution, four university rooms will be named after him: two in the Hélène-Desmarais building, one in the Côte-Sainte-Catherine building, and another in the Decelles building.
Pleased with his gesture, Poirier also took the opportunity to make a sharp comment about former Canadiens player P.K. Subban. This remark was made in a video shared on his social media, where Poirier seems to want to assert himself against Subban.
