A turnaround for Mattias Norlinder?
Mattias Norlinder, a promising prospect for the Montreal Canadiens in recent years, might be heading back to Sweden.
Norlinder struggled to adjust to North American hockey, with a disappointing performance this season with the Laval Rocket.
At 24 years old, he finished the season with just 9 points in 50 games and a -14 plus-minus rating, falling short of high expectations.
Swedish journalist Johan Svensson revealed that MoDo Hockey, a team Norlinder previously played for, is interested in bringing him back.
This possibility has been widely discussed in Sweden, to the extent that the SHL, the league of MoDo, has mentioned the rumor on its social media.
Although Norlinder's future remains uncertain, a return to Europe seems increasingly likely.
