At the pre-game press conference against the Ottawa Senators, the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, made a sad announcement regarding Kaiden Guhle.

The 22-year-old defenseman will be sidelined again tonight, missing his fifth consecutive game. The only confirmed change will be Tanner Pearson being replaced by Jesse Ylonen.
Considering there are only two games left to play in the next four days, it seems increasingly likely that the prospects are dimming for the first-round pick of 2020.
It's worth noting that Guhle may have suffered another concussion, his second this season, following a hit from behind by Nikita Kucherov of the Tampa Bay Lightning on April 4.
It was also announced that Cayden Primeau will be the starting goalie tonight, after Samuel Montembeault played the last two consecutive games on Tuesday and Thursday.
On the other side, the Senators have confirmed that Joonas Korpisalo, their number one goalie, will be sent into the fray against the CH.

This will be a critically important game for the Canadiens

This matchup with the Senators holds significant stakes. It will be one of those "four-point" games, but in this case, for securing the best possible drafting position.
Should the Sens win in regulation time, it would significantly increase the Canadiens' chances of selecting among the top six.
Only two points separate the 5th to 7th positions in the draft order, meaning every point earned during the last three games will have a major impact on the future of the Canadiens.
We also learned just minutes ago that star forward Tim Stutzle will be absent tonight against the Tricolore, which is not good news for the 5th draft position.
