Macklin Celebrini is currently the most talked-about name in the hockey world. With the NHL draft lottery underway, there's speculation about where the young prodigy will end up.

However, there's some unfortunate news affecting the young man, stemming from Europe at the World Hockey Championship.

Despite having already accepted the offer to represent his country in this competition, he will ultimately have to pack his bags, as Team Canada's management has decided to replace him with established NHL players who have just been eliminated from the playoffs.

"Team Canada has added reinforcements for the Men's World Hockey Championship. Pierre-Luc Dubois, Nick Paul, and Brandon Hagel join Canada. Macklin Celebrini and Adam Fantilli have decided to return home. Celebrini is obviously linked to the NHL draft lottery.

Celebrini and Fantilli initially accepted their invitations, knowing that they might not have a spot on the roster if more experienced players were available. Both also had the option to stay in Prague or return home." - Via Darren Dreger, TSN
