Major News Confirmed for Colin White and the Montreal Canadiens

Just after the Canadiens' optional practice, head coach Martin St-Louis told reporters that he would make no changes to his lineup for the game against the Pittsburgh Penguins.

Indeed, the only modification to the lineup concerns the goaltenders, as Cayden Primeau will take Samuel Montembeault's place in the Montreal net.

However, MSL made this statement before Kent Hughes took everyone by surprise by claiming forward Colin White off waivers.

Finally, the former first-round pick will officially be inserted into Martin St-Louis's lineup tonight. He will therefore play his first game in the Tricolore uniform, against his former team!

"Colin White was playing for the Penguins.

The CH just claimed him and they are playing against... the Penguins, tonight.

It seems that Colin White will take Brandon Gignac's place on the fourth line, who was placed on waivers with the intention of being sent to the Laval Rocket in the American League.
