Major demonstration of Lane Hutson's progress this summer
Lane Hutson impressed many fans and observers around the NHL with a strong finish to the season with the Canadiens.
Once again, he showcased all his talent at an event with the sports equipment company Bauer.
He appears completely comfortable on the ice and ready for the upcoming season, despite the small sample size.
Even Lane Hutson's thigh muscles have been a topic of discussion among Canadiens fans.
It will be interesting to see what the Canadiens' management decides to do with the small but agile defenseman after the next training camp.
If he performs exceptionally, management will have no choice but to keep him. However, there is also the issue of contracts for most of the Canadiens' defensemen.
In summary, if Hutson stays with the Canadiens, Kent Hughes will likely need to waive Jordan Harris or Justin Barron.
