A Quebecer has received some great news just before NHL teams return to the ice.
Justin Larose has been invited to the upcoming rookie camp with the Montreal Canadiens.
The forward from the Victoriaville Tigres had an impressive season in the QMJHL, amassing 80 points in 67 games.
At 19 years old, he has recently had a breakout performance and could be a player who has developed on the radar. The Canadiens will have a great opportunity to evaluate him at the rookie camp alongside other prospects in the organization.
The ball is now in Justin Larose's court to impress Kent Hughes and earn a contract.
