Alain Crête has decided to leave his position as a sports journalist on the 98.5 FM morning show, coinciding with his friend and legendary host Paul Arcand's departure.
After decades, the two hosts are making way for Yannick Bouchard and Patrick Lagacé, respectively.
A surprising announcement has now been made: Alain Crête will be returning to the radio as a collaborator at BPM Sports.
The Quebec sports network announced this on its social media channels. The specific time slot for the long-time RDS host's collaboration has not yet been determined.
Additionally, BPM Sports is also adding Martin Leclerc to its roster of collaborators. The seasoned Radio-Canada journalist is making a return to the station's airwaves.
BPM Sports is going all in for the upcoming season with the arrival of Tony Marinaro, who will have his own show from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m.
