After a challenging start to the season, Juraj Slafkovsky has made remarkable progress, emerging as one of the brightest revelations for the Montreal Canadiens.

Now positioned alongside Nick Suzuki and Cole Caufield on the first unit, his offensive contribution has significantly increased, accumulating 12 goals and 16 assists (28 points) in 31 games since the All-Star break.
He is finally showing why the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge management selected him first overall in the 2022 draft. Despite being far from reaching his full potential, his current performances are genuinely encouraging for the future of the organization.
However, on the sidelines of the game against the Ottawa Senators last night, a photo surfaced on social media, raising many concerns about the health of the Slovak forward. Indeed, as he was putting on his gear, it was observed that number 20 was wearing a brace on his left knee.

As Maxime Truman points out, it is quite concerning to see the Canadiens' forward with a brace on his left knee, especially since he missed half of the 2022-2023 season due to an injury there.
Furthermore, he missed several practices at the beginning of March, suggesting he might still be troubled by a minor injury at present. With only two games left in the current season, there is a strong hope that he will not worsen his situation.
At 20 years old, Juraj Slafkovsky is having a prolific season with a tally of 19 goals and 29 assists (48 points) in 79 games, flirting dangerously with the impressive 50-point mark.
