Given the Montreal Canadiens are experiencing yet another disappointing season this year, many fans have already set their sights on the draft and free agent market, but also on the 2024-2025 campaign.

After all, it's understandable; we're eager to see the Habs compete with the best teams in the NHL and fight for a playoff spot.
With the return of Kirby Dach and Christian Dvorak, the emergence of some young players, and the arrival of certain prospects with the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge, could we expect to see a huge turnaround next year?
Several observers believe that Martin St-Louis's team could make a significant step forward in its rebuilding process in 2024-2025, and the possibility of seeing the organization back in the playoffs doesn't seem that far-fetched.
Speaking of players who could lend a hand to the Montreal Canadiens next year, analyst Anthony Marcotte made a bold statement. According to him, Joshua Roy and Logan Mailloux will assuredly secure a spot with the Tricolore during the next training camp.
Wow! That's interesting!
If the recent performances of the Quebecois forward have practically confirmed his place with the big club next year, the arrival of Logan Mailloux would be a major addition for the CH's power play.
Indeed, the 31st overall pick in 2021 has had a lot of success in his first campaign in the American League, having accumulated 13 goals and 26 assists (39 points) in 60 games so far this season.
However, if Anthony Marcotte believes the 20-year-old will force the management's hand, he also thinks that some defensemen will have to wait their turn before making their NHL debut.
That's why promising young defensemen like David Reinbacher, Lane Hutson, and Adam Engstrom will most likely start the season with the Laval Rocket, in the AHL. It's a safe bet that many fans will be disappointed if Reinbacher and Hutson are unable to secure a spot in Martin St-Louis's lineup.
One thing is for sure, the next training camp promises to be exciting as the team is full of talented prospects.
