Last night, around 7 p.m., we learned that the head coach of the Montreal Canadiens, Martin St-Louis, was finally back with the team.

As you know, the CH's head coach had been absent since January 16th to return to his family in the United States to take care of his youngest son, Mason. In a very touching statement, Martin St-Louis thanked the entire organization, explaining in particular what had really happened with the youngest member of the family, Mason St-Louis.
Certainly, we are very happy to hear that Mason St-Louis is doing well and is finally back home.
Having joined the whole team in Denver for tonight's game against the Colorado Avalanche, we witnessed very emotional reunions between the Canadiens' coach and the team's players. Indeed, as Martin McGuire noted on the airwaves of 98.5, Kaiden Guhle and Kent Hughes seemed very happy to see the head coach, who they hugged for a long time.
"When the team arrived, Martin St-Louis was waiting for his players. He shook their hands, one after the other. There were hugs. I saw an emotional hug between him and Kaiden Guhle. Also, a very emotional hug between him and Kent Hughes. It was a beautiful moment.

We saw the strong bond between Martin St-Louis and his players and also the strong bond he has with the team's management. We saw the importance of the man. We saw during his absence that the team was not the same. And that's when we felt his strong presence at the head of his team." - Martin McGuire

Wow! This statement shows how important Martin St-Louis is within the group, truly appreciated by all members of the organization. It's really pleasing to see such a strong relationship exists between the players, the coaching staff, and the management.
It's notably remembered that the Executive Vice President of Hockey Operations for the Montreal Canadiens, Jeff Gorton, had recently mentioned that Martin St-Louis was the perfect head coach for the Bleu-Blanc-Rouge, a statement that makes complete sense when we see the welcome he received from his players.
For the first time in many years, it finally feels like the Canadiens have found their man of confidence. Moreover, with all the talent within the organization, we are hopeful that the team is moving in the right direction as the future looks very promising.
