The Montreal Canadiens have just made an announcement regarding the starting goaltender for the upcoming game against the powerful Bruins tomorrow night.
Despite a sparkling performance by Cayden Primeau on Tuesday, it will be Samuel Montembeault who will be in net for the Tricolore.
It's rare to see a goaltender who has achieved a shutout be sidelined for the next game in this manner.
The 27-year-old Quebecer will attempt to avenge his poor performance from January 20th, when he allowed eight goals on 26 shots in Boston.
It will also be interesting to see if Martin St-Louis's team can bounce back, because without Primeau's exceptional performance, the Canadiens were largely dominated by the Blue Jackets in the last game.
They absolutely did not deserve to win that matchup.
