The Edmonton Oilers made a second trade on Sunday evening, this time with the San Jose Sharks.

Stan Bowman traded defenseman Cody Ceci and a 2025 third-round pick in exchange for defenseman Ty Emberson.
Ceci is thus a victim of the two offer sheets from the St. Louis Blues for Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway.
According to Mark Spector, Edmonton will announce their decision regarding this matter on Monday afternoon.
Earlier in the evening, the Oilers acquired forward Vasily Podkolzin from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for a 2025 fourth-round pick.
