Ivan Demidov has passed his KHL medical exams and is officially cleared to return to play.

His ankle injury is now a thing of the past. The Canadiens' prospect has been troubled by this injury since the end of the last season.
The team holding his KHL rights has developed a plan with the Canadiens' management for Demidov's development for the upcoming season.
The promising forward will be given a significant offensive role with the prestigious SKA St. Petersburg in Russia.
This brings two pieces of good news for Demidov, who could potentially make his North American debut with the Canadiens organization as early as the 2025 season.
He has one season left on his contract with SKA in the KHL.
Canadiens fans will be watching Demidov's performance in Russia with great interest this season.
