The Montreal Canadiens have stocked up on several high-quality prospects in recent years.

While much attention is often given to first-round picks, some late-round finds could also prove valuable for the Canadiens.
Steven Ellis has been evaluating hockey prospects for years. Recently, he discussed Filip Eriksson, a distant pick by the Canadiens in 2023, noting his intriguing potential after a strong last season.
Now, Steven Ellis is back to highlight another late-round selection by the Canadiens. According to Ellis, Tyler Thorpe is a standout and the most underrated prospect in the organization.
The 6-foot-5, 212-pound forward scored 23 goals in the WHL during his 18-year-old season. He could very well break out with a big season.
According to Steven Ellis, Thorpe has the tools to make it in the NHL. He is described as an intriguing power forward who could fit well on a third line.
