Additionally, Sportsnet journalist Luke Fox mentioned that Brad Treliving might have contacted Kent Hughes to acquire Jake Allen in exchange for a sixth-round pick. He also reportedly reached out to the Calgary Flames, Buffalo Sabres, and Ottawa Senators, all of whom also refused the Leafs' offer.
