Earlier this week, RDS saw a well-known sports broadcaster retire.

Marc Labrecque, who hosted the show *Hockey 360*, announced his departure from RDS after over 30 years of service.
The show he led was known for being the official pre-game show for the Montreal Canadiens during weekday broadcasts on RDS.
With Labrecque's departure, a change was necessary, and now the respected Alain Crête will take on the role of guiding viewers and Canadiens fans before the games.
The veteran host will be more present, having stepped away from his role on the morning show at 98.5 radio.
While this change is somewhat surprising under the circumstances, it can be said that fans will not be disappointed with this new setup.
Here are the more detailed changes:
«Starting September 16, *Le 5 à 7*, hosted by Frédéric Plante and Yanick Bouchard, will return to its original two-hour format – Monday to Friday from 5 PM to 7 PM – and will continue to provide all the hockey content RDS viewers expect. On Montreal Canadiens game nights, Alain Crête will host the pre-game show starting at 6:15 PM.

With its original hockey content and coverage of the Canadiens, *Hockey 360* will feed an expanded range of RDS digital platforms, including its YouTube channel.» - RDS
