The NHL draft lottery takes place tonight. Renowned Elliotte Friedman has revealed an interesting piece of information about the Montreal Canadiens ahead of this highly anticipated event.
In the NHL Network offices in New Jersey, one of the participating teams will hit the jackpot and claim the first overall pick, likely to draft the young prodigy Macklin Celebrini.
The Canadiens find themselves in 5th place among the teams with the highest chances of securing the very first selection. Kent Hughes and his team have an 8.5% chance for the top pick.
