Horrible Injury Confirmed for Former Hab Arturri Lehkonen: His Recent Prognosis May Lead to the Premature End of His Career
Recently, in a match against the Seattle Kraken, Artturi Lehkonen, a player for the Colorado Avalanche, suffered a severe injury following a bad fall where he hit the boards head first.
At the time, his coach, Jared Bednar, announced that Lehkonen would be out for an indefinite period, which was not a good sign.
However, new details have emerged from Artturi's father, Ismo Lehkonen, who mentioned that his son is still wearing a cervical collar to stabilize his neck, two weeks after the worrying injury.
It's also revealed that Artturi's mother traveled from Finland to Colorado to take care of her son, a former Montreal Canadiens player.
Given Lehkonen's importance to the team's offense, it's likely that the team's general manager is looking to fill his absence with potential moves in the trade market.
Thus, it appears that Lehkonen was fortunate to avoid irreversible damage, but he is still in a poor condition at the moment.
