Following another successful regular season but facing several roster gaps, the Leafs are eyeing changes, potentially including a Mitch Marner trade.
According to The Fourth Period's David Pagnotta, Toronto is interested in free agents Nikita Zadorov, Dakota Joshua, and Viktor Arvidsson.
Zadorov, who played under current GM Brad Treliving in Calgary, is the most likely acquisition due to his size, explosiveness, and positional fit.
Joshua and Arvidsson are also on the radar; Joshua scored 18 goals and 32 points last season, while Arvidsson, despite injury struggles, managed 15 points in just 18 games in 2023-24.
The Leafs also need to address their own pending free agents, including Tyler Bertuzzi and Max Domi. These potential signings reflect Toronto's strategy to bolster their lineup for the upcoming season.
