With Pierre-Luc Dubois' departure to Washington, the Los Angeles Kings might set their sights on Mitch Marner from the Maple Leafs.
TSN analyst Kevin Weekes suggested this possibility after the Kings freed up $3.25 million in cap space by trading Dubois for goaltender Darcy Kuemper.
Kuemper, with a $5.25 million annual salary until 2026-2027, completes the goaltending team alongside David Rittich.
According to CapFriendly, the Kings have $23.45 million in cap space with only 13 players under contract for next season.
