The potential trade involving Josh Anderson has resurfaced, offering a glimmer of hope to Kent Hughes and the Montreal Canadiens.

In his recent article, journalist Eric Engels suggested that Anderson could be the player from the Canadiens sought after by another NHL team looking to rejuvenate an underrated player.
Engels believes that a team with an aggressive playing style could benefit from Anderson's qualities, especially in playoff scenarios.
The Carolina Hurricanes have been mentioned as a possibility, although Anderson's full salary remains a concern, particularly alongside Jesperi Kotkaniemi's contract.
At 30 years old, Anderson amassed 20 points, including nine goals, in 78 games this season, and he is under contract with the Canadiens until 2027, earning $5.5 million annually.
