The Blues have officially announced the arrival of veteran defenseman Ryan Suter with a one-year contract worth $775,000, along with a potential performance bonus of up to $2.225 million.
If Suter achieves this bonus, it will impact St. Louis' salary cap for the upcoming season, unless the team can adjust before the trade deadline.
Recently bought out by the Stars on June 27, Suter was in the final year of a four-year, $14.6 million contract.
At 39 years old, he accumulated 2 goals and 17 points in 82 games with Dallas in 2023-24. Throughout his career, the defenseman has amassed 105 goals and 681 points in 1,444 games.
