Peter Budaj, a 41-year-old Slovak and former Montreal Canadien, joins the Anaheim Ducks as goaltending coach.
Budaj has played for several NHL teams, boasting a solid record of 158 wins, 133 losses, and 40 ties, with a goals-against average of 2.70 and a save percentage of 0.904.
In February 2017, he was traded from the Kings to the Lightning in a deal involving Ben Bishop. After retiring in 2019, Budaj joined the Colorado Avalanche organization as goaltending coach for the Colorado Eagles until recently.
