BREAKING: Professional hockey making a comeback in Quebec this fall?
A new professional hockey league could soon be established in Quebec, according to revelations by YouTuber and podcaster Steve "Dangle" Glynn.
This league, scheduled to kick off as early as autumn, would distinguish itself with three-on-three matches.
With a salary cap of $30 million per team, consisting of 12 forwards and two goalkeepers, this initiative presents intriguing prospects for players, with an average of $2.1 million per athlete.
Several cities are already being considered to host teams, with Quebec, boasting the Vidéotron Centre, among the candidates.
According to player agent Allan Walsh, the Major League Hockey (MLH) could surprise in terms of revenue and popularity due to its focus on individual skills.
However, the future of this initiative remains to be confirmed before autumn.
