It's significant news in the NHL as the firing of the Ottawa Senators' General Manager, Pierre Dorion, has been confirmed.

Does this decision pave the way for Patrick Roy?
We'll have to wait for more details to unfold. Given Roy's history in the NHL both as a player and as a coach/executive, his name being associated with available positions is not uncommon. But whether or not he's being considered for the position with the Senators remains to be seen. Stay tuned for updates.
