Big Move Coming in Net for the Canadiens?

A big rumor has just surfaced regarding the goaltending situation of the Montreal Canadiens, and it was journalist Marc-Antoine Godin of Radio-Canada who broke the news.

According to his report, there could be a surprise in store, as young Cayden Primeau might be placed in goal for the Habs tomorrow night against the Arizona Coyotes.

Given the recent strong performances by Jake Allen and Samuel Montembeault, it is indeed surprising news that Primeau might be getting the nod.

It goes without saying that the 24-year-old goalie needs to see action, whether it's for his own development or to potentially increase his trade value, should there be any discussions about a future deal involving him.
