During the 2023 NHL Draft, the Montreal Canadiens focused on strengthening their goaltending depth by selecting three promising young prospects.

Jacob Fowler, picked in the third round, is the most well-known, while Quentin Miller and Yevgeni Volokhin were selected in the fourth and fifth rounds, respectively.
Miller, a 19-year-old Quebecer, had an outstanding season in the QMJHL with the Rimouski Océanic, posting a 2.60 goals-against average and a .917 save percentage after being traded from the Remparts.
This goaltender, who will turn 20 in December, is preparing for a crucial season, especially with Rimouski hosting the Memorial Cup.
Miller has worked intensively over the summer to improve his physical condition, gaining 25 pounds of muscle to reach a weight between 205 and 210 pounds, which should enhance his performance for the upcoming season.
