The St. Louis Blues set the NHL ablaze this week by submitting two hostile offers for two Edmonton Oilers players.

Stan Bowman and the Oilers now have until Tuesday to match the proposals for Philip Broberg and Dylan Holloway.
This exceptional situation has sparked speculation about potential moves by other teams.
Blogger Marc-Olivier Beaudoin pointed out that several high-profile players, such as Moritz Seider, Lucas Raymond, Matty Beniers, Dawson Mercer, and Seth Jarvis, remain unsigned and could attract similar offers.
The positive reactions to the Blues' bold move suggest that other teams might follow suit.
Although Kent Hughes, General Manager of the Canadiens, is unlikely to part with his draft picks, he might be tempted by this strategy to bolster his team with a top-six forward.
