In terms of prospects for the Montreal Canadiens, Kent Hughes is set for several years.

Ivan Demidov is regularly ranked among the best, as shown by the ranking of the top 100 NHL prospects by EP Rinkside.
This ranking, prepared by Mitch Brown, David St-Louis, and J.D. Burke, includes players eligible for the Calder Trophy or who have not yet played in the NHL.
Demidov ranks third, the same position given by Scott Wheeler of The Athletic. Matvei Michkov and Macklin Celebrini complete the top three. David Reinbacher is ranked 13th by EP Rinkside, while Lane Hutson is also a prospect to watch, ranking 27th.
Four other Canadiens prospects are included in this ranking: Joshua Roy (52nd), Michael Hage (72nd), Owen Beck (76th), and Logan Mailloux (95th).
However, Jacob Fowler, a promising goaltender, seems to be overlooked despite an impressive season in the NCAA with Boston College.
This ranking is subjective, and some players could exceed expectations, of course.
