An intriguing trade proposal between the Montreal Canadiens and the Buffalo Sabres has surfaced as the NHL draft approaches.

Instead of speculating about the team's first-round pick, fans are wondering if Kent Hughes will seek to acquire another forward through trades.
NHL prospects expert Simon "the Snake" Boisvert suggests a deal involving Sabres forward Peyton Krebs.
He proposes that Montreal send a second-round pick in 2024 (56th overall) in exchange for Krebs. Boisvert believes that Krebs, despite his modest performance last season (17 points in 80 games), has untapped offensive potential.
However, he is cautious not to overpay for his services. Krebs, drafted by the Vegas Golden Knights in 2019, was involved in the Jack Eichel trade in 2021 and will be a restricted free agent this summer.
