Two pieces of bad news have come for head coach Martin St-Louis, following the Canadiens' victory over the Panthers. An announcement confirms the absence of Alex Newhook and David Savard from the team's practice.

"Alex Newhook and David Savard will not participate in today's practice (treatment day)." - Montreal Canadiens

They will thus undergo a day of treatments, which means they are currently bothered by a minor injury.
With three more games scheduled by the end of the week against the Lightning on Thursday, the Maple Leafs on Saturday, and the Rangers on Sunday, it will be crucial to monitor the situation for these two key players in the lineup.

An imminent return to the Canadiens?

Furthermore, forward Christian Dvorak could soon make his return to play, according to the coach's statements.
"Dvorak is now being evaluated daily. There's a strong chance we'll see him back before the end of the season, according to MSL." - Anthony Martineau

It will be interesting to see how he performs on the ice, given that he was limited to seven points in 25 games this season, and to 28 points in 64 games last year.
