Major turnaround and Josh Anderson is on his way out of Montreal?
It's no secret that Josh Anderson had a tough season with the Canadiens last year.
Despite several opportunities on different lines, he never really found his stride and, most importantly, he wasn't able to develop chemistry with other top-9 players.
His annual salary of $5.5 million is a heavy burden on the Canadiens' salary cap given his performance last season.
Trege Wilson, a journalist for "The Hockey Writers," has made three predictions for the Canadiens for the upcoming year.
At the top of his list, he predicts that Josh Anderson will be traded. He also believes that Anderson could bounce back with a solid season, which would make it easier for Kent Hughes to trade him.
«If he can stay healthy this season, he might rebound for another 20-goal campaign. With some teams close to the cap, Anderson's $5.5 million contract could be appealing.»

If such a scenario unfolds, the forward could attract interest from teams contending for major honors. He could be a valuable asset at the end of the season, but the question remains about his contract.
Anderson has two years left on his deal. If Kent Hughes is willing to retain part of his salary, he could be traded. Otherwise, a team might fall for Josh Anderson's physicality and speed.
Much like Marc Bergevin in the past...
