Kent Hughes gave a generous interview to the excellent Tony Marinaro as part of his new daily show on BPM Sports.

The General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens discussed several topics, including the team's ambitions for the playoffs.
Of course, he also talked about Patrik Laine's arrival in Montreal, key players on the team, and plans for the coming years.
While he didn't reveal much new information, one detail stood out.
When Tony Marinaro asked Kent Hughes about who might replace Alex Burrows as an assistant to Martin St-Louis, Hughes responded:
«We do not plan to add another assistant coach at this time.»

With training camp approaching soon, it can be inferred that Martin St-Louis has decided to retain assistant coaches Trevor Letowski and Stéphane Robidas, as well as goaltending coach Éric Raymond.
St-Louis is expected to take on the role of overseeing the power play.
Burrows, however, remains with the organization as a consultant.
