Kent Hughes has just added two players to the trade market
Kent Hughes will be very active during the offseason to improve the Montreal Canadiens.
With over 20 players already signed for the next season, he needs to free up space to acquire a top-six forward for Martin St-Louis.
Restricted free agents Arber Xhekaj and Jesse Ylonen also need to be considered.
According to insider David Pagnotta, veterans Christian Dvorak and Joel Armia are potential trade candidates.
Dvorak, who was injured for 52 games last season and had only nine points, might require compensation for another team to accept his $4.45 million salary.
Armia, with a $3.4 million salary, showed better performance with 17 goals and 25 points in 66 games, thus increasing his trade value.
It is likely that one or both players will be traded before the next trade deadline.
